Who We Are & What We Do
In September of 2019, Stefani Davila founded Meraki Youth with the aim of inspiring high school students to take an active role in their communities through service. The organization began with efforts such as writing letters to veterans and their families, collecting clothing donations for foster children and cancer patients in Ecuador, and participating in beach clean-up events. With the support of Luis Martinez and I Love Avenue, Meraki Youth has been able to broaden its reach and increase its impact. Additionally, in 2021, Stefani Davila partnered with Jovenes Contra El Cancer Foundation to establish the first International Volunteer Mission Trip, which aimed to raise awareness about cancer and bring the community together to support those in need in Ecuador.
Today, Meraki Youth is guided by a dedicated group of students from Miami Dade College who consistently demonstrate their commitment and dedication to the organization's activities. They strive to make a meaningful difference in their community and beyond.
